Most hospitals typically provide the following items during your stay, so don’t buy them in advance! Request them from your hospital, and take extras home. If you need more later, you can always purchase them when necessary.

Ice Packs: These provide much-needed relief for swelling and discomfort in the first few days after delivery.

Peri Bottle: A must-have item for postpartum hygiene to gently clean your perineal area after birth. The hospital will provide one, so make sure to take it home - it’ll be useful in the weeks to come.

Disposable Underwear: These are great for postpartum bleeding and keeping everything in place. They’re useful for the first few days at home, so don’t forget to grab extras!

Perineal Pads (Maternity Pads): The hospital will give you larger, more absorbent pads than standard ones.

Witch Hazel Pads (Tucks): These soothing pads are great for healing any perineal discomfort or hemorrhoids.
